So today we took our first flight with Madeleine on our trip to Denmark. Mette had been secretly dreading it and I have to confess I had no idea how it would go. In the end we needn’t have worried as the flight went without a hitch with Maddie spending most of the flight cooing at the children sitting behind us.
The only tricky part was trying to dismantle the push chair at the foot of the aircraft steps, Mette had gone ahead to secure seats (no pre-booking with Ryan air) and unable to do it one handed I put Maddie down whereupon she tried to crawl across the tarmac. No harm done and bless Ryan Air they didn’t even charge extra for our over weight luggage, not that we took much stuff for ourselves – have you seen how much stuff a toddler needs!!
