Funny how things work out. When Maddie didn’t get accepted into reception at the school she was at, settled in to and only 5 mins walk away (hey thanks Herts CC) we were quite disappointed. Rather than take their kind offer of a school miles away we decided to go private. Today was her first day at Abbots Hill which is a lovely school only a 5 min drive away. According to Ofsted it got outstanding in every category so we have high hopes! Just hope Maddie settle in ok.
