So last week was a revelation, Mette and I went on our honeymoon which was a fantastic trip to Barbados. What made this even more special was that thanks to the generosity of our families we were Maddie free for a week.
A double edged sword if ever there was one, it was great to get some quality time together (and some good nights sleep!) however after 10 months it was only natural that we would miss her. (which we did)
Even after a week away she looked different but happily she was clearly glad to see us back.
