Ok, so we’re not rushing out to buy stair gates yet (which is just as well because we need to get 4 of them) but Maddie has shown the first signs of becoming mobile – at which point it has been pointed out, we really will be in trouble.
I like the fact that if you put her down she won’t disappear the moment your back is turned however evolution says otherwise. Maddie now shuffles along her crib and also from one end of the bath to the other. She is now making serious attempts to pull herself up onto her feet too so I’m expecting a few tears over the next few weeks as she has the odd fall and bumped head etc.
On a slightly different note (and without wanting to be prematurely smug) Maddie has now slept through the night for three nights on the bounce! We’re keeping everything crossed.
